Finance Officer

Description

Αdvantage FSE is looking for a Finance Officer to administer forecasting and accounting operations.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with budget preparation, monitoring and invoicing. The role reports to Chief Operations Officer and includes the day-to-day management of our financial budgets and procedures under close cooperation with Project Managers and Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Project Payment Milestones under accurate budgets.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Update internal systems with financial data.
  • Review and implement financial policies.
  • Prepare financial reports.
  • Participate in financial audits.
  • Track bank deposits and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Process invoices.

Requirements and Skills

  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • 3-5 years working experience as a Finance Officer (or similar role), preferably in Software industry.
  • Excellent command & usage of Greek & English (written & verbal).
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Good understanding of Project Management and client deliverables.
  • Experience using financial software.
  • Expert MS Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Sharp time management skills.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.

Our Selection Process

Once you apply, your application will be reviewed by our recruitment team. If you’ve got the skills and the experience we are looking for, you will be invited to have an initial conversation with our Talent Acquisition team, where you’ll get to find out more about our company & the opportunity, while we can learn more about you.

If things go well, you can then expect 2 – 3 interviews with the hiring team, after which a decision will be made.
