About our Academy

Our Academy is the first step to enter our continuously growing Company with Clients around the globe in the exciting world of FinTech.  We offer you 3+ months of paid training & hands-on experience in a real-life simulation environment, during which you will be coached & mentored by our expert Senior Software Engineers & Business Analysts, while having the opportunity to work along-side our teams and experience what Life @ Advantage is really like.

During this period you will become familiar with:

  • Technical & development standards
  • Lean, in practice, Life Cycle Models and Methodology
  • Core banking systems, the software used to support a bank’s most common transactions

Upon successful completion of your training you will become an active member of our team of talented Software Engineers with technical expertise & knowledge on IBM iSeries, who are responsible for the development of our Banking systems, currently successfully installed & running in Financial Institutions in countries of all 5 Continents.

Are you the one we are looking for?

If you are you a recent IT graduate, ideally at a Graduate (MSc) level, and:

  • Your English Language level is at Cambridge Advanced (C1) and above.
  • If a male, you have completed your military obligations.
  • You have a proven passion for software development & more than a willingness to learn.
  • You have a high-level communication ability & enjoy teamwork.
  • You enjoy setting goals and systematically working towards their achievement, aiming at a high-level & quality result.
  • Nice to have: Prior software engineering experience will be appreciated.

Our Selection Process

Once you apply, your application will be reviewed by our recruitment team. If you’ve got the skills and the experience we are looking for, you will be invited to have an initial conversation with our Talent Acquisition team, where you’ll get to find out more about our company & the opportunity, while we can learn more about you.

If things go well, you can then expect a technical assessment, and 1 – 2 interviews with the hiring team, after which a decision will be made.

If we are both successful in identifying a ‘match’ between us, and you accept our offer, our People & Culture team will guide you through our onboarding process.
